What does the tool do?

You enter the visible sizes of 3 to 9 frames and choose subjects, colors, and an optional visual character. Gallery Layout searches its museum artwork catalog and presents coordinated sets that fit those choices.

What can I do with a set?

You can compare alternatives, replace one artwork, arrange the frames in a room preview, adjust each crop, review print resolution, and download cropped JPEG files in a ZIP file.

Is it free?

Yes. You can use Gallery Layout and download the selected artwork files for free. You are responsible for any printing costs.

Where does the artwork come from?

The catalog contains public-domain works from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and SMK – National Gallery of Denmark. Each result includes its source museum and source record.

Does Gallery Layout make the artwork?

No. Gallery Layout does not generate artwork. It searches public-domain museum collections and prepares crops from the source images.

Are the downloads ready for every print service?

The tool creates JPEG crops for the requested proportions and reports the available resolution. It does not add color profiles, bleed, mats, or print-lab calibration. Check the requirements of your selected printer before you order.

How are my choices saved?

The site uses browser storage on your device to remember frame choices and the current artwork search.
